What is the monthly mock selective exam?
Each named monthly exam includes timed Mathematical Reasoning, Reading and Thinking Skills subjects, instant results, answer review and its own leaderboard.
When is a new monthly exam released?
The current named exam appears in the dashboard when all three subjects are ready to sit.
Can my child retake an exam subject?
Each monthly exam subject can currently be completed once per child, then reopened for answer review.
How do I receive my child's report?
The detailed report appears in the dashboard after your child completes an exam subject. It covers scores, timing, mistakes, strengths and monthly ranking.
What year levels is this for?
SelectiveExams is primarily designed for Year 5 students preparing for the Year 7 Selective School Entrance Exam (SHSPT). Year 4 students who want to start early preparation are also welcome.
How do I get started?
Create an account, open the current monthly exam and start the first subject when your child is ready for the timer to begin.
